PLAINS GAME: A minimum deposit of 50% of the total daily rate is required to confirm a booking. We do offer payment plans so feel free to discuss these options with us.

Payment

We accept wire/electronic transfers, cash, PayPal and all major credit cards. Please note, there may be slight variations in credit card charges from the time of payment to the transaction due to exchange rate changes.

Surcharges on Transactions

Credit Cards - A 3.5% surcharge will be levied on all credit card transactions.

Wire Transfer - Free - 0% Surcharge

Applicable PayPal tariffs as per date of transaction

You’re welcome to wire a projected total before your safari begins. Any remaining balance can be settled or refunded at the conclusion of your safari.

Our Prices Include the following

• Round-trip transportation between the nearest airport and the hunting camp, unless alternative arrangements have been made.
• Fees for hunting licenses.
• The guidance of an experienced and certified Professional Hunter, complete with a fully-equipped 4x4 vehicle and a skilled tracker.
• Provision of standard safari gear when necessary.
• Full support team, including camp staff, trackers, skinners, and chefs.
• Accommodation options ranging from cozy country hunting camps to luxurious safari lodges.
• All on-site transportation during your safari.
• Inclusive of all meals and beverages.

Additional Costs that our Prices do not Include

• International and domestic flights.
• Shipping and taxidermy services.
• Rifle hire and ammunition (if required).
• Baiting fees (where applicable).
• A 15% government-regulated Value-Added Tax (VAT) on all daily rates and services (VAT does not apply to game fees).
• Gratuities for safari staff and professional hunters.
• Meals and liquor outside camps and hunting areas

Wounded / Harvested Trophies

Any animal that is wounded or hit, whether found or not, will be considered taken, and the full trophy fee will be charged.

Gratuities

The preferred method of tipping trackers, camp staff, safari crews, and Professional Hunters (PHs) is in cash, preferably in euros or dollars . Alternatively, you can add tips to your final safari bill, which will be calculated and added to your remaining balance. Our team will then ensure that the tips are distributed according to your specific instructions.

Be sure to consult with your Professional Hunter regarding the standard tipping practices. Remember, while tips are always appreciated as a bonus, they are not expected.

Insurance

ABH Safari Outfitters strongly recommends that all clients secure travel insurance prior to their safari for peace of mind and protection against unforeseen circumstances.

Cancellation Policy

If a client cancels a safari less than 6 months before the scheduled start date, the deposit will be forfeited unless alternate dates within the same or following season can be arranged.

For safaris canceled more than 6 months in advance, the deposit will be refunded minus a 25% fee. This 25% will not be refunded but may be applied to a future safari with alternate dates in the same or following season.
